Most of our processing of personal information is done with your consent. We also collect and process personal information to meet our statutory obligations under health and safety legislation, including Activity Centres (Young Persons’) Safety Act 1995 and the Adventure Activities Licensing Regulations 2004.
We may need to process health information about you in the event of a serious incident where we have to contact the emergency services or to administer medication. In order to do this we need to collect the minimum personal information for these purposes.

Storing this information
We will hold the information about you securely, and for no longer than reasonably necessary. We will hold it up until your 25th birthday in order to provide you with information about your participation so you can receive your awards.
Who we share this information with
The Council does not routinely share your personal information. It does share non-person identifiable statistics with funders as appropriate, but this will not reveal personal information about you.
Why we share this information
We do not share personal information about you with anyone else without consent unless the law and our policies allow us to do so.
